HR data does not live only in Cornerstone

In most enter­prise land­scapes, Cor­ner­stone is one one sys­tem among many. Core HR data comes from SAP HCM or Suc­cess­Fac­tors. Activ­i­ty sig­nals sit in Microsoft Graph. Com­pli­ance data goes to exter­nal audi­tors. Each of these con­nec­tions is a project in its own right today — and each ages in its own way.

Set up once, kept up to date auto­mat­i­cal­ly. Cre­den­tials stored encrypt­ed with­in the platform.

On the basis of the already repli­cat­ed data, map­ping rules, fil­ters and trans­for­ma­tions are defined. Main­tain­able with ver­sion­ing, testable before they go live, oper­a­ble via an admin inter­face. Sched­uled or event-driven.

Back to Cor­ner­stone, to third-par­ty sys­tems, to SFTP direc­to­ries, to email recip­i­ents, to web­hook end­points, to data­bas­es. With PGP encryp­tion where it is required. With a com­plete audit trail of every deliv­ery — when, to whom, with what con­tent, with what result.

Core HR data comes from SAP HCM, Suc­cess­Fac­tors or Work­day — Cor­ner­stone takes over. Join­ers, leavers and organ­i­sa­tion­al changes end up auto­mat­i­cal­ly in the right OU tree, with­out man­u­al cre­ation or dupli­cate maintenance.

Pass on compliance and audit data

Train­ing records, qual­i­fi­ca­tion lev­els, manda­to­ry train­ing — direct­ly to exter­nal com­pli­ance tools, audi­tors or author­i­ties. As CSV or Excel, via SFTP or encrypt­ed email. Audit trail included.

Use Microsoft 365 as a data source

Entra ID groups, Teams struc­tures and organ­i­sa­tion­al con­texts from Microsoft Graph flow into Cor­ner­stone — as mem­ber­ship updates, OU struc­tures or sup­ple­men­tary mas­ter data. One source, sev­er­al tar­get systems.

Forward events in real time

New employ­ee, com­plet­ed train­ing, changed qual­i­fi­ca­tion — the Inte­gra­tion Lay­er noti­fies down­stream sys­tems via web­hook as soon as the event becomes vis­i­ble in the data. Onboard­ing tools, com­pli­ance work­flows or your own appli­ca­tions react automatically.
