talenttrends Team ILT Schedule

Your team. Your training. One calendar.

talenttrends Team ILT Schedule gives managers, learning leads and HR business partners an overview of their team’s upcoming training — over the next weeks, months or a freely chosen period. No combing through individual transcripts, no merging in Excel. Just a calendar, live from the talenttrends Data Hub.

The problem

Who from the team is in training and when? Today: transcript by transcript.

Cornerstone knows exactly who is registered for which ILT session and when. But the information is scattered across individual transcripts and session pages. A manager who wants to know whether someone on the team is away next week clicks through transcripts — or builds a report and pivots it in Excel.

Open every transcript individually

To see who is in training and when, you open every team member’s transcript. For a team of ten: ten transcripts, every single time.

Reporting export, then Excel pivot

The usual route to a team overview goes via a report that arrives by email and is then assembled in Excel. Out of date the day after export.

No view that crosses period and team

Cornerstone shows either a session or a transcript — but no matrix of “my team” by “the next few weeks”.

Conflicts visible only after manual reconciliation

That two team members are in training on the same day — or that the planned project kick-off clashes with mandatory training — only becomes apparent once you cross-check by hand.

What you see with it

One calendar, your whole team, any granularity

One row per team member, one column per time window, colour-coded by booking status. The calendar adjusts its resolution automatically the further ahead you look.

The team calendar

One row per team member, bookings colour-coded by registration status. By default, the calendar opens with your direct reports and the next month — extendable to indirect reports or narrowed to a subset.

Adaptive granularity

Day columns for the next month, week columns for the quarter, month columns for the half-year. The same view changes resolution automatically the wider the time window becomes — from detailed planning to a yearly overview.

Conflicts at a glance

Multi-day sessions appear as a continuous block across the days affected. Where several bookings fall on the same day, a +N indicator shows the additional dates — a click expands the full list.

Drill-down per cell

A click on a cell opens the full session details: date, time, location, trainer, capacity, course code and descriptions — without leaving the calendar.

How it works

Connect, embed, plan

01

Connect

Team ILT Schedule connects to your Cornerstone portal via the official Cornerstone data interfaces — either via direct API access or via the talenttrends integration from the Cornerstone Edge Marketplace. Booking and session data land in the talenttrends Data Hub, which the calendar works on.

02

Embed

Embedded in your Cornerstone portal as a custom page. Single sign-on via Cornerstone itself — no second login. You determine who may see the calendar via the visibility rules of the custom page — typically managers and HR business partners.

03

Plan

The calendar opens centred on the team of the logged-in manager. Choose a time window, filter by status, show or hide unbooked team members, zoom into a session. Every manager sees only their own team — direct and indirect reports, never the whole organisation.

The technology

Fast enough for a glance between two meetings

Team ILT Schedule runs in productive Cornerstone projects where we take responsibility ourselves. This is what’s behind it.

Live from the Data Hub

The calendar works against your replicated data foundation, not against Cornerstone live APIs. No API throttling, no rate limits, full performance even during Cornerstone maintenance windows.

Read-only and parameterised

Fixed, versioned queries that ship with the application — not generated at runtime, not synthesised by an AI, not changeable via the interface. Strictly read-only. The calendar cannot change data under any circumstances.

Limited to the team

Every query is limited to the direct and indirect reports of the logged-in manager. A manager sees their team — never the whole organisation. This is enforced server-side, not via the interface.

Filter with no wait

Lean, targeted queries load the visible time window; status filters and granularity changes then respond instantly, without another database query. Smooth even on a smartphone.

Built for mobile

Targeted queries on team and time window keep the data volumes small, so typical monthly views are ready in milliseconds — even for a quick check on the go.

No third party, no data leak

The calendar renders via a single authenticated channel — no third-party CDN fetches, no telemetry leaks, no transmission of data to third-party services.

Prerequisites

What you should coordinate with us

Team ILT Schedule shows which person on the team is in training and when — that is, personal data. A clean rollout takes three points into account that we clarify together with you during onboarding.

Cornerstone setup

Team ILT Schedule needs data access to your Cornerstone portal — either via activated Cornerstone data interfaces and a dedicated service account, or via the talenttrends integration from the Cornerstone Edge Marketplace. The latter is the faster route, because authentication and scope are pre-configured.

Team scope and audience

The calendar is restricted from the outset to the respective manager’s team — everyone sees only their direct and indirect reports. Via the Micro App’s visibility rules, you additionally narrow down who may open the calendar at all — typically managers and HR business partners.

Co-determination and permitted use

In Germany, introducing a technical system with employee-related data typically triggers co-determination rights for the works council. The contract also stipulates: the calendar is a planning aid, not an assessment system — attendance or absence at training sessions must not serve as a basis for personnel decisions, no profiling. We provide the documentation for the works council consultation; you lead the conversation.

Deployment

Your data, your infrastructure

Team ILT Schedule runs on the talenttrends platform and follows its three hosting paths — from our cloud to your own data centre.

SaaS with talessio

Fully operated by us. Fastest time-to-value. Hosting in Azure Germany West Central or with STACKIT — EU data residency, Schrems II-compliant.

In your cloud

Deployment in your own cloud subscription — Azure, AWS, GCP or OpenStack. Full control over network and data residency.

On-Premises

Runs in your own data centre. Maximum control. Your data never leaves your infrastructure.

Details under Security & Compliance. Details on hosting choice, responsibilities and migration between models can be found under Cloud & On-Premises.
