The BAYERNOIL refinÂery proÂduces a wide range of refined prodÂucts from crude oil for its partÂner comÂpaÂnies, includÂing liqÂueÂfied gasÂes, fuels, gasoÂline, jet fuel, diesel, heatÂing oil, and bituÂmen. At our two sites in Neustadt and Vohburg, we process around 10.3 milÂlion tons of minÂerÂal oil each year, using state-of-the-art techÂnolÂoÂgy, with the highÂest levÂels of reliÂaÂbilÂiÂty and under the strictest safeÂty stanÂdards. As the largest refinÂery in Bavaria, BAYERNOIL is an imporÂtant ecoÂnomÂic driÂver and, with more than 850 employÂees, one of the most sigÂnifÂiÂcant employÂers in the region.
The Initial Situation
The digÂiÂtalÂizaÂtion of our HR processÂes was a necÂesÂsary step to future-proof the adminÂisÂtraÂtion of employÂee appraisals, tarÂget agreeÂments, and sucÂcesÂsion planÂning. TrainÂing manÂageÂment and trainÂing docÂuÂmenÂtaÂtion also needÂed to be modÂernÂized. Although we had choÂsen CorÂnerÂstone OnDeÂmand as a powÂerÂful softÂware soluÂtion, we faced the chalÂlenge of taiÂlorÂing this highÂly comÂplex sysÂtem to our orgaÂniÂzaÂtion and interÂnal processÂes in a meanÂingÂful way.

As a result, we are now able to train our own employÂees, modÂiÂfy conÂfigÂuÂraÂtions autonomousÂly, and adapt processÂes as needed.
